How to cite content published on the ZagrebNet web portal?

How to get written permission to use photos?

The photographs published on the ZagrebNet portal are subject to the Copyright and Related Rights Act. Although the Zagreb City Museum is the holder of the ownership rights, the photographs are also protected by copyright.

After you have selected the photographs you wish to use, note their inventory numbers (e.g. MGZ fot-4524) which you will need to complete the Request for Insight and Use of Museum Holdings and Museum Documentation. Before completing the Request, we refer you to Ordinance on Conditions and Manner of Insight and Use of Museum Holdings and Museum Documentation.

Download the request form at: Request for obtaining insight and use of museum materials and museum documentation in the Zagreb City Museum, fill out, sign and send to zagrebnet@mgz.hr. Request for use is approved by the Museum Director no later than 15 days from the date of submission. If necessary, submit an order form, after which the Museum will issue you an invoice. Fees for the use of the materials can be found in the Price list. After payment, we will deliver high-resolution digital photographs in JPEG or TIFF format. If the digital photograph does not meet your requirements, it is possible to rescan it.
